Purchasing and Inventory coordinator:
Role overview:
To ensure the appropriate levels of inventory are purchased and maintained for the suitable running of production and to manage the inventory management system, ensuring data integrity is maintained at all times.
Role location: Leeming Bar, North Yorkshire.
Salary: £30,000 per annum starting salary.
Additional Benefits: 30 days holiday on completion of 3 month probation period. Profit share scheme. Generous discounts on products.
Role details: Based at our Leeming Bar production site, you’ll be responsible for purchasing raw materials and services from the business’ suppliers, ensuring the production schedule is able to be achieved without interruption. You’ll also be responsible for maintaining the company’s inventory management system, including uploading production data and inputting end of month stock data, to ensure financial reporting is accurate and that data integrity is maintained.
The role requires someone with a high attention to detail, given the nature of the role and its importance in the smooth running of the business. It will also require diligence, strong communication skills and an ability to react quickly to problems, finding solutions promptly and effectively.
